My Story

Sweet Mocha Tumbler Co is veteran owned and operated. 

I am a disabled Veteran and started creating tumblers in 2018 as an outlet for me while trying to overcome anxiety and depression.  Like so many others, I was struggling with life and felt trapped in a mind that wasn’t mine. I researched different techniques and decided I was just going to go for it! Doing so has saved me from the extremely horrible place I was in. I do my best to stay positive and creating functional art has brought me to having better days, sometimes the bad days still get the best of me but I am striving to be able to be the best version of myself I can be. 

In December 2020, I rebranded with a complete makeover after losing our family fur-baby and my best friend. Doing so has brought much joy to honor her and my heart is now full. Her name was Mocha, and we called her Mocha Bean. She meant the world to us and losing her was so devastating. She was a part of my life since she was 4 weeks old when I rescued her while my husband was deployed. She has been by my side unconditionally even through my worst times. We moved to Texas in October 2020 and we lost her on 12.6.2020. 

I still have my moments and my triggers still take my mind to a bad place sometimes but I continue to work through them the best I can which is all I can do.
